In a suicide bomber attack at the Wagah Border crossing on Sunday, At least 55 people were killed and nearly 120 other got injured.
The explosion took place at Wagah Border gate near Lahore after the flag-lowering ceremony which attracts thousands of spectators every day. Its the most severe attack in Pakistan after a suicide bombing at a church in Peshawar killing 80 people in September 2013.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaj Sharif conveyed his condolences and sorrow over the suicide attack. Even Indian PM Narendra Modi and several cabinet ministers condemned this deadliest attack in the history.
