Update: 2013-08-04 13:36 GMT
Student JAC leaders who have been protesting the bifurcation of state by sitting on hunger strike from June 30th at the Andhra University in Visakhapatnam has been forcibly shifted to the hospital in view of their deteriorating health condition. Tension erupted as students protested the action of the cops complaining it was against the will of the leaders who sat on fast-unto-death.

The medical tests have hinted that leaders were in serious condition as their BP, Sugar and Water levels dropped down. As the agitators refused to call off the fast even after consultations, Police took all the seven of them into custody and drove to King George Hospital.

Similar indefinite fasts have been planned all over the Seemandhra region to intensify the United AP movement. Rallies, Dharnas and different kinds of protests were held on Sunday too.
