A 26-year-old aspiring filmmaker hailed from Andhra Pradesh has died in USA over a week after he was hit by a car while riding a bike. Vijay Mohan was hit by a car in his hometown in Philadelphia on 10th May and he suffered serious injuries to head.
After battling for a life more than week he succumbed to head injuries on Monday.Mohan was the son of telgu immigrants and spent the first 10 years of his life in Chicago. His family moved to India when his father became ill. He even attended one year of college in Hyderabad. Later he moved to USA and earned a degree in film and media from Temple University
The Philadelphia film and television community has mourned the death of Mohan. “We will greatly miss his gentle, funny and creative spirit. He was truly committed to our work and demonstrated it daily through his interactions with PhillyCAM producers,” said PhilyCAM, city’s public-access television station.
