Appears like nothing is going the way Akkineni Nagarjuna would want to, especially when it comes to the N Convention Centre issue.
Recently, The actor filed a PIL in AP High Court challenging the decision of GHMC and TRS Government to demolish the illegal constructions in the 3 acres 12 guntas of land in the N Convention Centre. He seeked a stay on the plans of GHMC Officials to dismantle the constructions in the N Convention Centre premises.
However, The High Court refused to give a stay and instead ordered the GHMC to serve notices before demolition any illegal establishments. The judge also found fault with GHMC Officials barging into N Convention Centre without seeking permission of the owner and debarking part of the property. He directed GHMC to issue notices to owner prior in such cases.
So, GHMC will issue notices to Nagarjuna this time before going ahead with demolition. Bad time for King!
