Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao extended his support to the fast-unto-death move by YS Vijayamma at Vijayawada on 19th of this month protesting the bifurcation of the state. "We welcome whoever comes forward to fight for keeping the state united, be it Vijayamma or Chandrababu. It's high time everyone joins the movement cutting across the party lines," he said.
Ganta informed to media that all the Ministers, MLAs and MLCs would assemble at the residence of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at 5pm on Saturday to discuss about the future course of action. Issues like the seriousness of the agitations and what message they have to send to the AK Antony's four member committee would be discussed in this meeting.
The minister described the ongoing agitations across the Seemandhra region as the movement led by people not leaders and opined its improper for the Telangana leaders to find fault with it.
Ganta is one of the Seemadhra leaders who strongly opposed the division of state since the beginning and he is firm on the same stand even Today.
