Seems like the Congress party is distancing itself from its Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao who is allegedly involved in Titanium scam. Interpol has already issued a red corner notice for arresting the tainted politician.
AICC Spokesperson Anand Sharma asserts Congress is no way connect dot the scam and its up to KVP Ramachandra Rao to defend himself. He states party will take disciplinary action against KVP if charges were proved. He, however, reminded there is a lot of procedure to be followed for taking an Indian into custody by Interpol.
However, AICC general secretary and AP Congress incharge Digvijay Singh refused to react on the issue until he speaks to KVP Ramachandra Rao.
KVP Ramachandra is said to have played a role in Rs 111 crore bribes given to Indian officials for getting clearances for Titanium mining.
