Crude Bombs Thrown at TV Channel

Some of the unidentified persons attacked a TV channel Tamil Nadu. They hurled crude bombs at the office of a popular Tamil TV channel Pudhiya Thalaimurai. The incident happened in the early hours on Thursday when four motorcycle-borne youths hurled two crude bombs packed in tiffin boxes. While one hit the compound wall the other fell in front of the office building. Both exploded with a loud noise but no damage was happened.

The  entire incident was caught on CCTV camera and the footage showed four men on two bikes hurling two bombs at the office. Police said the bombs that were kept in tiffin boxes were of low intensity hence no damage was happened.

The TV channel faced protests by some groups against its decision to telecast a debate on 'mangal sutra.' A hindu outfit staged protests against the channel on Sunday. Police have registered a case on the attack and teams are trying to track down the perpetrators.
