Director Teja who introduced Uday Kiran to the Film Industry expressed shock upon coming to know about the suicide.
"I was shocked! I came to know about the news through my friend. The last time I have seen Uday was in his marriage and he seemed to be very happen then. When he said to me that we have to meet once, I told to him that we should wait for some time. I thought of doing another film with Uday after some more time as my career isn't going well at the moment".
"Any actor would go into depression if there are no offers as they know nothing other than acting. He is a very good man and the one who never does any harm to anyone. More than me, Media knows it better if anyone had suppressed him in the Industry."
