Valery Spiridonov, a 30-Year-Old Russain Computer Scientist, has been suffering from a rare genetic muscle wasting disease. He is now all set to become first person to undergo Head Transplant.
Reportedly, Mr. Valery has approached Italian surgeon Dr. Sergio Canavero who claims to have developed a technique which paves way for World's first human head transplant within a period of 2 years.
Valery given his approval for the radical procedure which would ensure his head gets re-attached to a body of donor. "I'm afraid but don't have many choices. With each passing year, My condition is getting worse and hence I don't have any plans to change my mind," says the scientist who is battling the Werdnig-Hoffman muscle wasting disease.
