Calling off their flash strike started a week ago, AP Film Employees Federation stated that they are withdrawing from strike with immediate effect as Producers Council agreed to meet their demands.
Earlier these cine workers have took up strike demanding a hike of 30% in their pay scales, and later they started to demand to include a clause that bars technicians who doesn’t have membership in local unions to work in film industry. Finally with Producers Council agreeing to include the clause, cinema workers have ended the strike and will resume to shootings from today.
