Its known that Pollice have put up barricades between the administrative blocks of the secretariat which were being allotted to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments .As Hyderabad is the common capital of both the states for ten years, the secretariat of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh has been divided into two from June 2 for the administrative purpose.While Telangana government has been allocated A, B, C and D blocks, the Andhra Pradesh government is given J, K, L, H - south and north blocks.
A large number of personnel belonging to the central security forces are deployed at these barricade. The employees should enter the Secretar iat through their respective gates only. This was caused lot of inconvience to the employees belongs to both states.
Meanwhile some section of media reported that these barricades were set up by Governor during president rule.Some channels even tried to show it out of proportion but the Governor reacted quickly and dismissed the reports.The Raj Bhavan dismissed the reports that appeared in a section of the media stating that a decision has been taken by Governor ESL Narasimhan during President’s rule, that a barricade be constructed between two Secretariats of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In a press communique, the Raj Bhavan has denied the statement and said “No such decision was taken nor any instructions were issued by the Governor during President’s rule."The Governor's clarification comes at a time wherein vertical division of Secretariat with barricades kicked up a controversy among the two governments.
Meanwhile Some Seemandhra ministers took up the barricade issue with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. And, reportedly he expressed his anguish. Sources said, Naidu regretted that it would spoil the working atmosphere in the Secretariat.We need to see where this barricade dispute leads to!
