Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has been admitted to a private hospital in Delhi following a heart problem. Rajnath admitted in Medicity Medanta hospital around 9.15 am on Saturday and he is being treated in ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
The team of doctors treating him refused to say anything about his condition.Some reports saying that it was just a normal check up but others saying that Rajnath is suffering with an ailment. Rajnath is 63-yr-old and he had undergone a similar health check-up a few months ago.
In last August he complained of pain in lower abdomen and treated in the Gastroenterology department. Rajnath previously served as the Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government. He has also served as the President of the BJP twice, 2005-2009 and 2013-2014.
Rajnath Singh took charge of the Home Ministry when the NDA government assumed charge in May 2014.Meanwhile Mulayam Singh Yadav was also admitted to the same hospital late last night after he complained of uneasiness and breathing difficulty.
