I will not quit TDP

Former Rajya Sabha member Nandamuri Harikrishna ruled out the chances of leaving Telugu Desam party which was floated by his father and former chief minister late NTR. "I will not resign to the party. I have resigned to my post going by the wish of my father NT Rama Rao who always wanted to keep the state United. Congress is following the divide and rule policy," he said, who condemned the reports which said YSR Congress and his sister Purandeswari were behind his resignation.

After his resignation was accepted by Rajya Sabha chairman Hamid Ansari, Speculations of Harikrishna leaving the party which isn't taking a clear stand on the Telangana issue have been on a rise. In Reality, Harikrishna have no such plans as he is well aware of the fact that he will not have future without the support of TDP.

TDP leaders have been accusing AICC chief Sonia Gandhi has chalked out a conspiracy to ensure that Harikrishna's resignation was accepted quickly to corner TDP.
