International Cricket Council (ICC) treated Indian speedster Ishant Sharma breaching code of conduct during the second Test Match between Indian and Australia in Brisbane very seriously. He was fined 15 percent of the match fee for violating Level 1 Article 2.1.4 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players.
Ishant Sharma was caught using inappropriate language soon after dismissing Australian captain Steven Smith in the first innings. The Indian bowler admitted to have cmmitted offence and also didn't object to fine imposed by ICC.
On the other hand, Australia Skipper Steven Smith was fined 60 percent of match fee for his team's slow over rate in second test. Rest of the Teammates received 30 percent penalty in accordance with Article 2.5.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.
