Kavuri denies taking U-turn on Division

Union Textiles minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao denied taking U-turn on the bifurcation of the state and stated the division would serve no purpose. He questioned what's the use of Telugus in two states and bringing the down the MPs count from 42 woul only complicate things further.

Kavuri asserted there is contribution of Seemandhra people in the development happened in and around the capital city over the years and the feeling that Hyderabad no more belong to them is hurting everyone. He said the newly formed high power committee headed by AK Antony is a result of suggestions made by nine Union Ministers from Seemandhra region.

The MP appealed to the people to wait patiently for few more days to know what the high command would decide, post the report of the committee it has formed to address the grievances of the people living in Andhra and Rayalseema regions. He expressed confidence that Congress leadership would take an appropriate decision at the right time.
