Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is going on his maiden foreign tour after taking over as the chief minister of Telangana.He will be leaving for Singapore tomorrow evening. This is his first foreign visit after assuming the chief minister post. Telangana minister for finance Eetela Rajendar accompany K.Chandra Sekhara Rao in this tour.
In his five days our KCR will address a seminar organized by the alumnus of Indian Institute of Management.The association extended an invitation to Rao to attend its conference scheduled Aug 22-23.Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and other dignitaries are also scheduled to attend the event.
KCR is said to be the first chief minister of any Indian state to be invited to the meet.As the chief minister is formulating the industrial policy of Telangana on the lines of Singapore's policy, he would use the visit to study the model and hold talks with the Singapore government.
KCR, during his visit, will explain the features of his industrial policy and will invite investments into Telangana.KCR will also attend industrialists meet, meeting with Telugu’s, IT sector and also manufacturing sectors separately.
Meanwhile, IAS officers and CMO officials Narsing Rao and Rajasekhar Reddy are also in the chief minister's team, which accompanies KCR. KCR and his team's flight would leave for Singapore today at 11 P.M.
