KCR's bonanza for Yadagirigutta

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao declares his Government will allot Rs 100 crore every year for development of Yadagirigutta as a religious centre on par with Vatican City.

After conducting an aerial survey in the surrounding areas of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, KCR held a review meeting with temple authorities and architects on the development works. He directed the officials to develop the temple based on the rules of Agama Sastra and suggestion given by China Jeeyar Swamy.

KCR ordered Roads and Buildings Department to create a 4-lane road from Raigiri to Yadagirigutta, and also complete road works in the surrounding villages. He directed Forest Department to plant flower-bearing plants on either sides of the roads leading to Yadagirigutta. He also asked officials to install music system to play devotional hymns throughout the way to the temple. He also advised authorities to use 14.5 acres of land near temple for construction of kalyana mantapam, cottages, pravachana shala, mada veedhi and parking lot.
