No more porn in Government Offices

Responding to the CBI report about secretariat employees keen interest to watch pornography during their office hours, Karnataka government has finally decided to install a software on official computers that blocks all of such sites.

CBI monitored the internet activities in government offices during the anti-terror surveillance to send a report to the Criminal Investigation Department. It came to light that internet protocol with kar.nic.on was extensively used by employees to view pornography.

Software that doesn't allow employees to view porn sites were installed in Karnataka secretariat and the activity will be spread to all the government offices across the state.

Karnataka IT and BT Minister SR Patil said he was pained to see the reports of employees watching porn during office hours neglecting the oath 'government work is God's work' they have taken.
