Malayalam Teenage sensation Nazriya Nazim who said to be the second heroine in NTR- Santosh Srinivas untitled film has lodged a complaint against the director of her film 'Naiyaandi', for using a body double to shoot some skin show and intimate scenes without her knowledge.
Body double or dupe is generally used for risky shots. But, director used a dupe to shoot a hot sequence. When Nazriya rejected to act in a high-octane bold scene, director shot it with a body double. Nazriya is annoyed after watching the clip in film trailer and filed complaint to the Chennai police commissioner.
Nazriya explained, “I was shocked to find a clipping that was not shot with me. The trailer includes a quick shot of my hip. It is a separate shot and it is followed by a close-up shot of my face. He didn't seek permission from me for the same and when I contacted him he said that since I was unwilling to shoot that particular scene, he used a double.”
Nazriya also lodged a complaint with South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) against director Sarkunam and producer Kathiresan. "I have complained against the producer-director of Naiyaandi to Nadigar Sangam (SIFAA) for cheating. They have used a body double to shoot scenes without my permission. This is against contractual agreements. We will take legal action," she told.
Meanwhile, director Sargunan has assured that he has not used any dupe for the song shoot, and says it is heroine Nazriya in the scenes
