One lakh jobs in TS in two years: KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao assured that the government would soon issued notification to fill 100,000 jobs in the state. KCR made this statement while participating in a debate on budget at Telangana Legislative Council.When  Leader of the Opposition D Srinivas and others sought clarity, KCR announced that the government was committed to offer jobs to Telangana youth who fought rigorously for the cause.

KCR  said his government will conduct recruitment drive to give one lakh jobs to telangaan to the youth in next two years.

‘’ The government is awaiting Kamalanathan Committee Report on official bifurcation. Soon after the report was received we will issue the notification. We will take up the process in the next four-five months. Unemployed youth need not get disheartened. The recruitment drive will be conducted in a phased manner and the eligible youth will get jobs in 2015 and 2016 he said in the Assembly in reply to the debate on unemployment initiated by D Srinivas

KCR also announced that government  had already announced notification for filling   3,726 posts in the police department. He said that notification would be issued soon for recruitment of 600 people in the engineering department. He announced that steps were also being taken for filling vacancies of 1,500 teachers in Urdu medium schools.

KCR also estimated that at least 10,000 new jobs would be provided in each district. He assured that contract employees that their services would be regularised. There were around 40,000 contract employees in the Telangana government
