Once again Factional violence took place in Guntur district.Old rivalries between two group’s have led to bomb attacks. The incident was happened at Paapayapalem village in Bellamkonda mandal of Guntur district.
As per reports some YSRCP activists were attacked when they were in faction-ridden area. TDP leaders reportedly attacked them while they were returning from court.The YCP leaders attended the court in connection with murder of TDP leader Veera Reddy.
Police forces led by Guntur SP rushed to quell the violence. Following this, the district police authorities set up a police picket in the village. Rivalry between TDP and YSRC activists since the MPTC elections is said to be the cause of the incident. The Bellamkonda police registered a case and took up investigation.
