President gave 6 weeks to Assembly for T-bill

 Finally the game is on and the much awaited T-bill has sent to State Assembly approval from Honourable president.

The winter session kicking off  from today and the reorganisation bill has reached for the assembly approval.As the tension grips the political field of the state with sentiments rising from all the regions in the State, the Assembly is going to face a crucial stage in state bifurcation process

However the president gave the Assembly 6 weeks time to discuss the statehood issue. Before sending the bill to assembly approval Pranab Mukherjee was having consultations with legal experts on various provisions of the draft Telangana Bill proposing splitting of Andhra Pradesh.This session of state assembly will be held for one week. The Telangana bill is expected to be discussed in this one week and sent back to the Parliament.

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Assembly decided that the House would sit for for seven working days till December 20.The BAC was not included the T-bill in the assembly agenda .However Legislative affairs minister informed the meeting that the BAC can sit once again, if the draft Bill is sent for state Assembly’s consideration.

Digvijaya Singh, AICC secretaries Kuntiya, Tirunavukkarasu are landing in Hyderabad tomorrow. The purpose of their visit is to ensure smooth passage of Telangana bill.

APNGOs already announced that they would liege seize to the assembly when telangana bill was tabled and the security precautions were taken by police.

Meanwhile Telangana MLAs from various parties formed a team to ensure that all Telangana MLAs vote for the statehood bill. They approached MIM MLA Akbaruddin and solicited support for the bill.
