Post the IPL controversy, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty decided to sell their stake in the India Premier League (IPL) Franchise Rajasthan Royals.
The celebrity couple informed Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and IPL Governing Body about their decision to end all ties with Rajasthan Royals. They will be selling their 11.7 percent stake in the IPL Franchise that was acquired in 2009.
Contrary to the rumors that a new buyer has acquired the stake, Raj Kundra & Shilpa Shetty's stake will be remain with the existing owners of the Rajasthan Royals.
In the final judgement, Supreme Court held Raj Kundra guilty of involving in betting in IPL. A committee will be deciding the punishment that should be offered to Mr. Kundra.
