Former Indian Cricketer Vinod Kambli suffered a heart stroke on Friday and he was rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital immediately. This took place when the cricketer was driving from Chembur to Bandra and he suddenly stopped the vehicle.
Sujata Patil, a cop who is on duty, noticed the condition of Kambli and arranged a vehicle to shift him to the hospital. Doctors have kept him under observation and several tests have been conducted to analyse his health condition.
In July 2012, Kambli has undergone Angioplastry on two of his blocked arteries.
Vinod Kambli is a good friend of Sachin Tendulkar since childhood. They both scored a record-breaking 664-runs for their school Shardashram Vidya Mandir in February 1988.
