But it was his brother Ajith who told him to continue playing to achieve his dream of winning the World Cup.
"I still remember nightmare of 2007 world cup.I was so depressed and so upset with the way we had performed. I actually thought of retiring then.I called my brother and explained about my plans but he asked me to continue till 2011 to achieve my dream.’’ Tendulkar said.
