It is known that Sachin Tendulkar is planning to adopt Puttamraju Kandrika village in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh under Sansad Adarsha Grama Yojana (SAGY) programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Batting Maestro is going to pay a visit to Nellore on November 16th. Sachin will be reaching Chennai from Mumbai on November 15th. Then, he would board a chopper to reach Krishnapatnam port and stays overnight at the port. He would be reaching Puttamraju Kandrika village the next day.
Nellore collector Gorle Rekha Rani is instrumental in making Sachin adopt this AP Village. The legendary cricketer would spend Rs 4.5 crore from his Rajya Sabha grants for development programmes in Puttamraju Kandrika village.
