Shiv Sena offers Rs 21,000 to Hindu Families

Update: 2014-10-28 04:23 GMT
Shiv Sena seems to be a firm believer of increasing the Hindu population is the only remedy to counter/curb the growing population of other communities. Hence, The Party's Uttar Pradesh unit has come up with a strange offer to Hindu families.

Shiv Sena's UP unit president Anil Singh announced party will be offering Rs 21,000 to each Hindu family with 10 or more children.  This programme will be held in November across the state. A certificate with the message - 'Rashtra Hit Me Hinduon Ki Jansankhya Badhane Ke Liye (Which means Increasing population of Hindus in the interest of the Nation) will be handed over to these families.

This move by Shiv Sena invited criticism from other parties and organizations. They accuse Shiv Sena of yet again trying to benefit by dividing the society on the basis of religion.
