Legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao received great honor from the AP state Government and his life is included as a lesson for 10th class students. NTR’s chapter is introduced in the new syllabus of 10th class Social studies which came in to force from this year. The lesson featured on 268th page of the text book. The lesson introduces NTR as a prominent hero who floated Telugu Desam Party after Congress high command insulting Telugu people by changing CMs.
It also touched about the schemes which he was introduced in his tenure. Many of the NTR fans welcomed the decision but some of the politicians already started criticizing the idea of Chandrababu to introduce NTR in school books. Senior Congressman and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao opposed the decision and said that the decision was one-sided.
While speaking to media men he said that while all positive aspects of NTR’s life have been included in the text books, the part where NTR was back-stabbed has been cleverly edited out.He urged the officials to include all the facts of NTR life. VH said that governments should steer clear of such inclusions for short-term benefits.
