Indian cricket god and batting maestro is getting ready to made his last appearance in the cricket ground and the total nation was eagerly waiting for the last match of Sachin .Here is the interesting news about Sachin tendulkar which we didn’t heard about him.Sachin known for his cool and calm nature and wont step into any controversy .But Sachin also sledged once against Australia

In a crunch quarterfinal against Australia at the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy, Sachin walked into the Nairobi Gymkhana ground with a premeditated plan to irk Glenn McGrath.

“He sledged me,” McGrath said even before one could complete the question. “It’s part of the game. Isn’t it?,” the Aussie bowling legend told this newspaper.

Even Sachin also accepted that he took part in the sledging

"I have never sledged per se merely for the sake of sledging. I did that only once as a part of team strategy. This was at the Kenya Champions Trophy. We were playing Australia." Tendulkar recollects in a book 'SACH' by Gautam Bhattacharya.

Tendulkar describes how he irked McGrath with a cheeky line. "The match was played under overcast conditions. The wicket was also very damp. I had told Sourav before that I would do something to upset McGrath's rhythm. So, in the very first over, I stepped out to him.

“The first thing I said to him was: ‘Today I will hit you out of the ground’ He got really angry and started spraying the ball around. This was exactly what we wanted as on that surface, he may have been very dangerous,” said Sachin in a book SACH, recalling the ‘only instance’ he ever sledged someone.

Sachin did succeed in rattling McGrath who went wicketless conceding 61 runs in nine overs. Sachin’s assault — 38 off 37 balls with three fours and three sixes — gave India a flying start before the 18-year-old Yuvraj Singh built on the momentum.
