Former Minister TG Venkatesh had the darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala during the VIP break.
Speaking to media post the darshan, TG Venkatesh demanded a ban on liquor and non-veg food in Tirupati. He also suggested State Government to use the revenue generated from red-sandalwood and mining for the development of Tirupati.
No one knows why TG Venkatesh hasn't placed a similar demand when Congress was in the ruling for a decade and during his tenure as Minister. It's to be seen how TDP Government and People of Tirupati would react!
Post the bifurcation, TG Venkatesh shifted from Congress to TDP but that didn't help him win in 2014 General Elections. Inspite of contesting on TDP ticket, People of AP taught a fitting lesson to most of the Congress Leaders in the last election.
