Yesteryears' glamour actress Jayaprada is said to have finally chosen Bharatiya Janata Party to brighten her political future, after having drawn blank with all the other parties in nation. Jayaprada responds about reports on joining BJP and said that Nation will develop under direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She said she have very bitter experience with the Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and its chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. She also responded on meeting with TRS leader Harsish Rao. Referring to her recent meeting with TRS leader, Jayaprada said it was a courtesy call and nothing more should be read into it. She said Harish was like her brother.
Meanwhile BJP sources saying that Jaya Prada may be fielded against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly election. Responding on this Jayaprada said it was indeed an honor to contest against AAP chief.
Jayaprada served as MP from Rampur parliamentary seat in UP twice in 2004 and 2009. Jayaprada first entered Parliament in 1996 as a Rajya Sabha MP from the Telugu Desam Party. She left the TDP and joined the Samajwadi Party through Amar Singh. Along with her mentor Amar Singh, the politician had joined Ajit Singh's Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) in 2014. Jaya Prada fought the 2014 Lok Sabha election as a Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate from Bijnor but lost.
