It’s already known that cricketing giant and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar responded to Narender Modi’s call to MPs to adopt a village and develop it as role model during his (MP’s) tenure. Sachin recently met PM Modi and expressed his willingness to adopt a village under the ‘Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.’
And interestingly, the village that the master blaster adopted is from Andhra Pradesh and he is going to adopt a village in Nellore district. The Puttamraju Kandriga of Gudur Mandal will be Sachin's village and the former cricketer allotted 3.5 crores from his MP funds.
This was a great initiative by honorable PM and equally good response from the former cricketer turned RS MP. The fate of Puttamraju Kandriga village going to change in next few months .According to reports Sachin will meet AP CM Chandrababu Naidu on this as well.
