In a shocking development, right-wing Hindu practitioners Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal protested against Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". Of course, whenever Salman’s movie is coming he faces threats either from Hindu outfits or Muslim political parties.
Today the group demanded that the film’s title be changed as it hurts Hindu sentiments and raised slogans against Salman Khan. They threatened to launch a massive protest and disrupt screenings of the film across the country on July 15th or 18th, in case if Salman and the makers failed to alter the title. They demanded removing the word “Bhaijaan” from the title.
Earlier a localite from Uttar Pradesh has filed a PIL against Salman, Yash Raj Films and director Kabir Khan demanding that ‘Bhaijaan’ be removed from the title, besides chopping out other objectionable scenes in the movie. The issue is in court right now.
