Recently, Manchu Vishnu and Ram Gopal Varma has collaborated for a path-breaking move of keeping the Telugu films for auction. The first film to release in through the auction is RGV's 'Anukshanam' starring Vishnu.
Speaking about the response for 'Anukshanam' auction, Vishnu declared that the psycho thriller has been booked in 410 theaters within 3 days after the auction begun. He expressed happiness over earning table profits prior to the release.
Ram Gopal Varma believes his path-breaking idea will surely change the age-old distribution system and gives a chance for any one to participate in the auction. Interested parties will have to pay some amount prior to the auction and the amount will be returned if they were unable to win the deal. The amount collected for each show will be updated in the official website and would be directly deposited in the account of the highest bidder.
Interestingly, Vishnu himself is producing Manoj's upcoming flick 'Current Theega'. However, Manoj says they are yet to decide if they would go for auction or release the film following the old distribution system. If the younger brother goes the other way, It might send wrong indication to the people.
