By following the footsteps of YS Jagan TDP president Chandrababu also began an indefinite fast to protest against the split of Andhra Pradesh .Unlike Jagan, Babu elected Delhi  for launching the strike in which he may have chances to get  more publicity. Babu has chosen the historical AP Bhavan for his hunger strike .

The hunger strike has reached its second day and all of sudden it’s a big blow for the TDP President. Authorities of AP Bhavan on Tuesday issued notice to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to vacate Andhra Bhavan premises immediately. Andhra Bhavan Resident Commissioner issued notice with this effect.

Babu asked by authorities to vacate the premises as his protest there was "unauthorized". It is learnt that TDP leaders first took permission to conduct a press conference in AP Bhavan premises. But Chandrababu straightaway announced that he is going on hunger strike right there.

But Naidu is defiant and has said that as the Andhra Bhawan is for the people from the state and he is fighting on their behalf, so he has the right to sit on fast there.
