Star Cricketer's SUV seized

Update: 2015-06-02 06:40 GMT
Former Pakistan Captain Misbah-ul-Haq's SUV was seized by officials for non-payment of taxes and customs duty to the tune of Rs 3.9 million.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Officials confirmed Misbah-ul-Haq's land cruiser was confiscated as he failed to follow the norms. They say, 'He has to pay taxes applicable and customs duty on the fancy car'.

In October last year, FBR Officials had seized the bank account of Misbah for the same reason. The issue was temporarily settled after Misbah and few other cricketers facing similar issues met Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. FBR now made it clear in a notice sent to Misbah that he have to pay the dues with penalty to reclaim his SUV.

Misbah-ul-Haq is currently busy preparing for the upcoming Test Series with Sri Lanka.
