The makers of 'Gollabhama' were hesitant to announce the title officially even though they feel its an apt one just fearing the caste issues.
Apparently, Gollabhama means Grasshopper in this case. The title has no connection what-so-ever with caste but the makers feel it could be misunderstood and negative buzz will be generated around the movie in that case. So, They are taking their time to send the message straight by avoiding unnecessary interpretations.
Few days ago, Pooja Hedge who is playing the female lead leaked the title as 'Gollabhama'. However, None from the unit neither confirmed or denied the reports until now.
Initially, 'Gollabhama' is slated for Dussehra release. With 'Govindudu Andari Vaadele' being in race, The release has been postponed to Diwali or Christmas this year.
