A 6-year-old boy studying Class I breathed his last after his school teacher banged his head against a wall for not speaking in English. This incident happened at Tirumalagiri village of Anumala mandal in Nalgonda district.

Soon after the death of boy spread like wild fire, Parents and Villagers launched protest at the private school demanding severe action against the management. Placing the body of the boy (identified as Chandu), The protesters refused to move out until the teacher and the principal were taken into custody. Huge forces were deployed at the school premises to bring the situation under control.
Child Rights Protection Committee says Teacher deserves life imprisonment. It also emended de-recognition of the school and compensation to the family of the boy.
