TRS Party plenary meeting took place in Hyderabad on Friday. Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao who was elected as TRS President tried to woo Industrialists during his address.
Stating that black days of Telangana have come to an end, KCR expressed confidence that the new state is heading towards a golden era under his tenure. He informed State Government has tied up with resources to the tune of Rs 91,5000 crore to built 24,000 MW power capacity. He gave assurance to Industrialists that uninterrupted power supply will be provided and appealed them to invest in state.
KCR announced 6,600 MW ultra mega power project coming up at Damaracherla in Nalgona district will be named after Yadagirigutta's Laxminarasimha Swamy. He also promised extention of Hyderabad Metro Rail till Shamshabad airport, Ibrahimpatam in Ranga Reddy district and Ramachandrapuram in Medak district. He said State Government treats Water Grid Project as a matter of prestige and informs about the launch of KG to PG scheme next year.
