YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy seems to be leaving no stone unturned to minimize the impact of TDP-BJP alliance in Seemandhra region.
Apparently, Both TDP and BJP desperately want to field their party candidates in Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha segment. While TDP wishes to offer this seat to former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, BJP wants former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswai to contest from here. Most probably, Purandeswari might be testing her luck in Vizag again.
To stop Purandeswari from retaining her seat, YS Jagan came up with the idea of fielding his mother YS Vijayamma from Vizag Lok Sabha constituency. Even Vijayamma seems to have agreed to take up the challenge to see her soon holding the upper hand over the opponents. Jagan will make an official announcement on Saturday.
In fact, Jagan's Uncle YV Subba Reddy was supposed to contest from Vizag but he preferred Ongole Lok Sabha segment. Later, even Sharmila's name surfaced but Jagan isn't keen to make her contest in 2014.
