Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's remarks on former minister and Medak by-poll Congress candidate Sunitha Laxma Reddy have become controversial.
KCR poked fun at Sunitha Laxma Reddy saying a person who got defeated contesting for a MLA seat has been now fighting for winning Lok Sabha seat.
A teary eyed Sunitha Laxma Reddy questioned KCR does the leaders who failed in Assembly polls don't have the right to contest Lok Sabha elections. She reminded KCR that he lost contesting for Assembly segment in 1983 polls. Claiming that she never indulged in personal attacks on KCR or TRS Leaders, Sunitha said she was pained by objectionable remarks of ruling party leaders.
Medak by-poll could witness a triangular contest between TRS - Prabhakar Reddy, BJP - Jagga Reddy and Congress - Sunitha Laxma Reddy.
