Hero Shivaji on Thursday joined BJP in the presence of party senior leader Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking on the occasion, Shivaji said: "I came from an ordinary farmer family and its the Telugus who made me what I am Today. I didn't join BJP for any posts. I choose it as it doesn't encourage heir and caste politics."
The actor-turned-politician said Country needs the services of Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Earlier, There were reports that Shivaji might join Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party. However, he choose to go with BJP as there is no invitation from the Mega Hero despite the long wait.
