Australian batsman Phil Hughes ended up in hospital after being hit by a bouncer on Tuesday. He lost his conscious soon after the speeding ball hit him on his head and collapsed on the ground.
Phil Hughes was air-lifted to hospital were doctors performed a surgery. He went kept in ICU and said to be in critical condition at the moment.
Few reports say, Phil Hughes was in an induced coma stage. The results of the surgery can't be known until the next 24 to 48 hours.
The 25-Year-Old was batting at 63 runs for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield game when the frea accident took place. Match has been abandoned soon after this disturbing incident.
Phil Hughes made his Test debut against South Africa in 2009. He played 26 Tests till date and likely to replace Captain Machael Clarke, who is unfit, in the first Test against India.
