Telangana chief minister KCR earning wrath for his soft corner on Nizam.Showering praise on the Nizam of Hyderabad, KCR revcently said the ruler of erstwhile Hyderabad state set up hospitals and implemented irrigation projects, among other things.
"Nizam was a great king though he might have committed some mistakes. Nizam got an orthopaedic hospital constructed in the city even after losing power.Some small mistakes may have happened but they happen " KCR had said
KCR comments received wide publicity and he is facing wrath from several political parties.CPI leader Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has criticized KCR for praising the Nizam’s rule which killed a number of freedom fighters belongs to Telangana
He lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister and said it was big insult to the people of Telangana State.Suravaram questioned how he lauds the Nizam who killed Telangana freedom fighter Kumram Bheem.Survaram said that the Chief Minister was adopting double standards by praising Kumram Bheem on one hand and the Nizams on the other.
He said the Nizam supported the ‘Razakars’ who committed atrocities against women and killed freedom fighters of Telangana.Suravaram further added that Nizam made all people as illiterates and had intentions of becoming king for Muslims.
The CPI leader also blamed central government for removing the existing planning comission.He sought to know what the benefits the newly introduced scheme going to offer apart from earlier one.
