Maestro Ilayaraja was admitted to Apollo hospital in Chennai few hours ago after he complained of chest pain.
Sources say, Ilayaraja was busy composing music for his upcoming flick at Prasad Studio in Chennai this morning. Later, he was rehearsing for his concert which was slated on December 28th in Malasia. During this period, he complained pain in his chest and he was immediately taken to the hospital. Doctors informed Ilayaraja suffered mild heart attack and have kept him under observation.
Ilayaraja composed music for over 950 films and still going strong. His compositions are popular among all the age groups and even Today he enjoys a huge fan base. Get well soon Maestro!
