AP Government is going allot Rs 5,000 crore for farm loan waiver in its first budget which will be presented by Finance Minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu on August 20th.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu discussed with Yanamala and Finance Officials over budget and suggested them to include few pivotal aspects. He asked them to allot Rs 5,000 crore in the budget under the non-plan head for farm loan waiver. When officials brought to CM's notice that only Rs 1,000 crore has been allotted in non-Plan budget, Naidu advised them to allot Rs 4,000 crore in the Plan budget for Agricultural department.
AP Budget for the fiscal year 2014-2015 would cross Rs 1 lakh crore. The budget session would continue from August 18th to September 12. Agricutural Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao will present agriculture budget on August 22nd.
