Setting up New Capital is not like building an Office: Naidu

Update: 2014-02-22 07:22 GMT
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who played a key role in developing Hyderabad on par with any other metropolitan city in the country during his 9 years regime explains New Capital isn't an easy task to accomplish in a matter of time.

"Setting up a New Capital is not like building an Office. We need to spend Rs 4-5 lakh crore for infrastructure, hospitals, educational institutions, employment and roads. Though Hyderabad has been the capital for very long, it found a place in World map only during TDP rule with world-class infrastructure. To build a capital like Hyderabad, it may take 30 or 40 or 50 years. We may even get the doubt, Is it possible to re-create a city like Hyderabad," he told.

If a former chief minister who was an architect of Hi-Tech Hyderabad himself has got so many doubts over New Capital, What about the common man in Seemandhra?
