Tollywood film industry started with the heroes like Rama Rao and ANR. At that time, the remuneration levels used to be a bit low. But things turned interesting with time and Tollywood became a big entertainment industry in the South. Now Tollywood is competing with Bollywood for the ace position in Indian film industry.

Jr.NTR tasted failures few years back and hence his remuneration lagging behind compared to the present generation young heroes.
With “Badshah”, Jr.NTR hiked his remuneration by 3 Crores. Now Jr.NTR too is taking 10+ Crores. With the success of “Julayi” and “Idharamayilatho”, Allu Arjun raised his level to 10 Crores star. Sudden Star Allari Naresh tripled his remuneration with the success of “Sudigadu”. Now he is charging 3 Crores per flick. Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan are still on the top in this aspect with around 20 Crores including the shares.
