Newly formed Telangana states first full-fledged budget was presented in the assembly on Wednesday by Finance minister Etela Rajendra. The finanace minister proposed an expenditure of Rs.1,15,689 crore for the financial year 2015-16.This includes a plan expenditure of Rs.52,383 crore and non-plan outlay of Rs.63,306 crore.
Etela presented the budget with estimated revenue surplus of Rs.531 crore and the fiscal deficit is projected at Rs.16,969 crore. The Finance Minister stated that Telangana in one of the two surplus economy states in India, besides Gujarat.

TS non-plan expenditure put at Rs 63,350 cr

Roads & Buildings: Rs 4,980 cr
Anganwadi workers salary: Rs 7000 per month

Mission Kakatiya: Rs 2,083 cr
RTC development: Rs 400 cr
Teangana water grid: Rs 4,000 cr
Forest & environment: Rs 325 cr
For energy sector: Rs 7,400 cr

Government to provide monthly fund Rs 70,000 to each police station in Hyderabad and Cyberabad
Rs 50,000 fund to city police station
Rs 25,000 for rural police stations
For food subsidy: Rs 2,200 cr
Agriculture and allied sectors: Rs 8,432
Irrigation sector: Rs 8,500 cr
