After water sharing; PPA agreements and EAMCET counseling yet another controversy broke out between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Tourism departments involving in brawls over different issues from few days and now it reached to peak level. Yesterday tussle for office space happened between Andhra and Telangana tourism board employees.
Almost 100 employees at different levels working in the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) have been denied entry into ‘Tourism House’, the corporation’s head office, by their counterparts from Telangana State.The war between employees over office space created some sort of nuisance.
Now according to reports some of the Telangana tourism busses was halted in Andhra region by the employees of the AP Tourism department. Telangana tourism dept buses were halted in Holy shrine Tirupathi as a mark of protest by APTDC employees.
As the situation appearing to be out of control the police intervened into it and allowed the Telangana Tourism Bus to move.An officer of the rank of General Manager in the APTDC expressed anger that they getting feeling like outcasts in their community after working together in many years. The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is a state government agency which promotes tourism in the Telangana.It was separated from the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation on 2 June 2014
